Actually, it does repeat forever but in a real answer it would stop at a certain point, for an example 0.9 repeating would eventually become 1. So if 0.9 were to contiue forever it would go to infinity.
Z is from German (zahlen)
It’s an international symbol.
Hi
I dont know of free tutorials and are not sure how well they are conducted. Maths is a specialized subject that needs expert guidance.

When I was Tutor in college I used to ask for $15 dollars an hour for one-on-one tutor. I wasn't very strict about payment, I asked that much so that they would know my time was valuable. When I did group rates I'd go between $15 to $25 and have the students split the expense between themselves and keep the group less than 8.
I'd say anything less than 5 dollars an hour is insulting, mostly because it says how much his time is worth it to you.
7 dollars says that I'm willing to take advantage of you.
9 dollars says this is really really important to me, but I don't have a lot of money, lets negotiate.
15 dollars says, I have the money and I expect you to be worth every penny.
At least from my perspective.
you are a bloody god send. no matter how hard i try maths never seems to register with me!
Depends on how far you want to travel. If you are in the centre of Sydney, you will be within 50km of 4 million people. I would assume that 1 000 000 are school aged. You have a good market to sell your skills. Melbourne will give you the same access. In other places there will be plenty of work, you just have to find it.
I would recommend to avoid describing the whole calculator thing. Stick to the math, there are so many calculators out there it takes people away from the math, they just learn how to use a calculator and forget what they are actually doing. Its a reason for the decline in math ability around the world. We can all learn to type, but we forget to learn!
$7 a half hour
but it depends on the student
If you were helping my very intelligent son and I know its a very easy job for you then $7 a half hour
If you are helping a struggling student then double that
Definitely Australia – the education system is more competitive here and the parents have more to spend on "after-school" education. Almost no kids go to after-school tutors in New Zealand.
Either Sydney (lower north shore suburbs) or Melbourne (any Eastern suburbs).
If you want to do it properly, go to university for 3 years, get a degree in maths, go on and take a PGCE, and then get a job as a teacher. Alternatively, you could just advertise for pupils, but make sure that you have professional indemnity insurance cover, and an up to date CRB. Just how you would get indemnity cover without the proper professional qualifications is beyond me. Do make sure that you tell your prospective clients that you`re not qualified to do the job. I`m sure they`ll be mightily impressed.

I completely disagree with you. This is the 21st Century, and I feel calculators are an important part of learning. If a student does not need to do the calculator keystrokes, he/she can just skip that part of the video. Yes, there are many different calculator models, but I feel the TI-84 is the best overall model for use in most classrooms.
crap WHAT NOTES??
Math is declining because of poor teaching techniques and lousy textbooks, it has little to do with using calculators.
