Every parent wishes that their child will do very well in school. With the entry of a baby into our lives we often imagine about whether he will be a doctor, lawyer, or the next President. The fact is, overly bright or gifted children constitute only a small portion of the population. The maximum children fall in the average range, or below average range when it comes to academics. You could achieve a lot by getting information and advice for your child when it comes to school work. But how do you know when it is the right time to do so? There are several markers for parents that a child needs a private tutor.
Some markers that suggest private tutoring are:
Failing grades in school on a consistent basis
Your child is full of excuses for why his homework remains undone. Laziness is not a character quality in this situation, it is an indicator or a symptom of an underlying issue. Your child’s teacher is sending notes home due to behavior that is disruptive, and this will be a pattern that continues through the school year.
There is a typical pattern that evolves for the student that has difficulty in school. The first term report card will not be good, and the second one follows suit. It is during the February to May period when parents try hard to help their children get better grades and look into a private tutor to prevent failing a grade or summer school.
When parents decide to find a private tutor, they need to look for the idea private tutor for their child. The most important things parents should look for in a private tutor is teaching experience and educational background. Being specialized in a certain subject area is great, but you do need someone that knows how to teach, or the child will be unable to learn adequately. The private tutor should be able to explain things in a relatable level so that the child learns to how to improve his own skills. Parents should expect their private tutor to be available two or three times a week for about three or four months. Anything less than that is not enough time and the child will will fall behind as far as developing new and essential skills goes.
If your child is not doing as well as you would like him to, a private tutor is a great way to give him a better grip on things both academically, and emotionally. A private tutor quickens the learning process which in turn increases the child’s morale.

Good luck!!
Word of Mouth…is the best way to be known .
call the customer care center in Dhahran (Aramco) and ask the ladies there to give you a few names.. They keep a huge list of all the willing tutors in Dhahran.. They charge average about 50 to 75 riyals per hour.. depending on who you contract with..
There are a few steps to this.
Like others have said, ask about the going rate in your area. It does vary. Remember what grade level you are tutoring. Being that you plan to tutor 4th-5th graders I would probably suggest no more than $10-15/hour. Since you are just starting out, parents may be reluctant to pay high costs to tutor their young kids.
Become a great tutor and in a couple of years you can start tutoring high school kids. Here in NC people make between $16-25/hr tutoring high school math! It's in high demand. Good luck!
I never heard of that, but there is tutoring in Insight, I'm not sure that it is free for those who do not go to the school.
Go to Craigslist to find out what tutors charge and clients pay. As for finding students, that's a marketing plan you need to develop.
To be a tutor, no, you do not need any special permits to be a tutor. However, it may be difficult to find clients if there isn't anything like teaching credentials. But I mean, its just a way to get your name out. If its online, I dont know if there are any specifics behind the legal approach, but the way I see it, its the same as if you posted flyers all over the place saying you will tutor for x amount of dollars.
If you do promote yourself, id suggest you put up information about yourself such as your GPA, tutoring experience, what you are proficient at, etc.
Advertise put putting up notices in local stores./ Use local newspapers. Contact nearby elementary schools and see if your college can give you leads.
