So many children need lots of homework help to understand particular subjects in school (especially math), that tutoring has become a common day term. With online math tutoring, you can enhance your child’s mathematical skills using new amazing technology, along with personal tutors, to make learning both fun and easy for your child.
What is Online Math Tutoring?
Online math tutoring provides help with math using the Internet and comes in many forms, from basic software programs to help you tutor your child on your own to personalized training by real live, experienced tutors who can communicate directly with your child over the Web. It gives your child math homework help without having to leave your home.
Like many parents, you’re probably at your wit’s end trying to get your child to understand certain math principles. You’re probably not a trained teacher or tutor, and maybe you aren’t even good at math. With one-on-one online math tutoring, you can depend on skilled tutors to help your child learn in a way that’s suitable for him/her.
Online math tutoring provides help with math using software and the guidance of a trained tutor. With personalized online tutoring, your child can log on for math tutoring sessions using systems such as VoIP and work directly with an assigned tutor. You’ll likely pay a monthly fee for a certain number of sessions, and some programs even cost less than hiring a private tutor locally to come to your home.
A tremendous benefit of online math tutoring is it can work for any grade level, including elementary school math tutoring, junior high school math tutoring, or high school math tutoring. For example, if your child needs a middle school math tutor, the online math tutoring program will provide one that specializes in this grade level of math and the software needed to help your child excel.
Find the Program that Fits Your Child’s Personality and Your Budget:-
If your child works better with a tutor in person, then by all means you should hire a personal tutor to come to your home or to meet at the local library to tutor your child. But don’t completely rule out online math tutoring until you try it. Allow your child to try it for a couple of months to see how he relates to the online tutoring. Providing help with math through an online tutor might help your child feel more comfortable with tutoring. This method also might work well with your family’s busy schedule.
As you search for the right online math tutoring program, compare prices and the quality of tutoring offered. You may be required to pay a little more for personalized tutoring, but it’s well worth it if this helps your child succeed in math. Expect to pay from $60 to $100 per month for a high quality tutoring service. Look for a service that can cater to your child’s needs with an assessment of your child’s best learning style.
Getting help with math online provides affordable math tutoring that will give your child the edge needed for better comprehension now and in the years to come!

Help answer the question about math tutor
What should I pay a math tutor here on a college campus?Hi, I would like to ask an SI (Student Instructor) Math Tutor to give me private math tutoring lessons. He is also a student at my college, and a 19- going on 20- year old sophomore. (I am a freshman). He would be tutoring me in a Calculus level course. He did very well in his Calculus II class last year and has thus been certified to teach other students who need additional help in the Calculus course. His experience in College mathematics level tutoring, I believe, however is really only limited to one full year. I would like to pay him for private one-on-one tutoring sessions. What do you think would be a reasonable price to pay him for tutoring once a week, right here on campus?
This is a fucking joke..
There is nothing on Math software in this video with its misleading title.
When I was Tutor in college I used to ask for $15 dollars an hour for one-on-one tutor. I wasn't very strict about payment, I asked that much so that they would know my time was valuable. When I did group rates I'd go between $15 to $25 and have the students split the expense between themselves and keep the group less than 8.
I'd say anything less than 5 dollars an hour is insulting, mostly because it says how much his time is worth it to you.
7 dollars says that I'm willing to take advantage of you.
9 dollars says this is really really important to me, but I don't have a lot of money, lets negotiate.
15 dollars says, I have the money and I expect you to be worth every penny.
At least from my perspective.
Hey I can help you on that .
That is fine , if you want we can work on it.
If you want to do it properly, go to university for 3 years, get a degree in maths, go on and take a PGCE, and then get a job as a teacher. Alternatively, you could just advertise for pupils, but make sure that you have professional indemnity insurance cover, and an up to date CRB. Just how you would get indemnity cover without the proper professional qualifications is beyond me. Do make sure that you tell your prospective clients that you`re not qualified to do the job. I`m sure they`ll be mightily impressed.
baby i can get our X’s together…just drop by my shack and we will start multiplying those Xs lmao :p
NICE,
$7 a half hour
but it depends on the student
If you were helping my very intelligent son and I know its a very easy job for you then $7 a half hour
If you are helping a struggling student then double that
just an internet connection and some self working
Are you joking, jala? This is FAR from confusing! I bet even fifth graders can do this but they aren’t introduced to this formula at that time. If you tell a fifth grader what to do they can do it easily. No one uses a different method unless they are CRAZY = )
Man, this is a tutorial not a lap dance, lol.
This is easy I will pass the GED in no time
WHY IS SCHOOL ON YOUTUBE? .
You should first talk to her algebra teacher. Perhaps he/she can recommend one. Most schools offer free tutorial time either before or after school or during the school day–usually students just use this like a "study hall", but if you work with the algebra teacher, perhaps they can arrange something more structured toward helping with that particular subject. Otherwise, the teacher may be able to recommend a local tutor who is familiar with his methods. What about an honor student from the same school a grade or two ahead of your daughter–check around in your neighborhood or other connections you have to the campus and see what others in your situation have tried?
Many teachers are very particular about the methods they use to teach algebra–I know for a fact that my daughter's teacher shows work and expects problems written in a certain format and will count off or not give credit if they don't show their work in that format (even if the answer is correct.)
So just putting an ad in the paper or looking online may not help if you don't end up with someone familiar with the methods and expectations of your daughter's teacher.
I have had some success buying tools such as Algebra for Dummies books that I (or she) can use to look up specific concepts and try to get a better understanding. Just be sure that she is working the problems the way the teacher wants to see them.
30 dollars
if u are a home/private tutor, then it will be around 50 – 70 (cause u teach a person and have to drive all the way to her or his place to teach. if his or her place is near or around your neighbourhood, then u can reduce the price a bit)
It is often hard to find a good tutor for math and physics, because you want someone who not only is "good" at the subjects, but someone who can communicate clearly and knows how to teach the subject.
The school can be a good source of tutors, as can a nearby university. If neither of those has a candidate for you, then you can consider posting a classified on Craig's List (it will cost $25 for a job ad, it is free to post it to the community section) or on another posting board.
Many tutors are referred word of mouth and do not advertise. I would suggest asking friends and colleagues who have kids if they know of any tutors. Also, if you find a good English tutor, ask if he or she knows any good math/science tutors, often people talk to each other in tutor circles, and you may be able to get a referral that way.
You can also do a search for "math tutor" and "physics tutor" in a search engine which will return tutoring companies in your area. Make sure you ask about references, experience, and that you are able to talk to the tutor to make sure he/she is a good fit before paying for a service.
nice..
thanks for this video!
It's usually around $20/hour
