If your child struggles in math at school, he or she may not do well in other subjecs, according to statistics. Since most professional schools, universities and colleges require all students to have certain scores of math before they can be accepted. It is for the future of students to have the problem corrected as early as possible. In fact, math is not difficult as many parent think, it is only the logical distortion. If the student can manage it, math is easy and fun ( it is a lazy student best course, if they can think logically).
Online Math Tutoring have become more popular and acceptable for parents and students, because it not only provides the expert for any math courses but also gives the parent and student more flexible time and works in the students’ own home. In fact, Online math tutoring has many other benefits. The schedule of online math tutoring is the same as normal tutoring class. All courses are following the government guideline.
1. All teachers are certified
2. Times are Flexible
3. Parent can engage in the courses by working together with their child
4. It is cost effectiveness. Most online tutoring school charge only $100 -200 per year instead of thousands
5. Take off the student pressure. Some students may afraid to ask questions in the normal class.
6. Parent do not need to drive the student to the class as it is used to be.
7. It also includes regular exam
8. The student will be given exercises to improve their logical thinking in their spare times and they can do them independently.
All new student needs to write a initial placement.
Researchers found that parents should check at least three online math tutoring schools and compare them before registering for their children. Since it involves transaction of credit card, parent should call the 1800 number to verify the existence of the school before making any payment.

For credentials, well I've completed Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry. I am taking Calculus this year.
You should try using an online tutor service that you can access 24/7
I signed my 8th grader up with a code on tutor.com that will give you 50 mins for $1
check it out the code is WJVIP50M
When I was Tutor in college I used to ask for $15 dollars an hour for one-on-one tutor. I wasn't very strict about payment, I asked that much so that they would know my time was valuable. When I did group rates I'd go between $15 to $25 and have the students split the expense between themselves and keep the group less than 8.
I'd say anything less than 5 dollars an hour is insulting, mostly because it says how much his time is worth it to you.
7 dollars says that I'm willing to take advantage of you.
9 dollars says this is really really important to me, but I don't have a lot of money, lets negotiate.
15 dollars says, I have the money and I expect you to be worth every penny.
At least from my perspective.
nice..
thanks for this video!

WHY IS SCHOOL ON YOUTUBE? .
Man, this is a tutorial not a lap dance, lol.
Talk to the folks at Student Services or whoever it is that arranges for undergrad tutoring at Northwestern. Send your resume to companies that provide tutoring services.
Are you joking, jala? This is FAR from confusing! I bet even fifth graders can do this but they aren’t introduced to this formula at that time. If you tell a fifth grader what to do they can do it easily. No one uses a different method unless they are CRAZY = )
NICE,
Hi. I think you best bet would be to keep asking questions here or find a colleague that is good a math and that is in your class. Or look for tutoring flyers around your school. There is also asking other teachers that teach math to help you. I would strongly advise ever meeting anyone in person that helps you from this forum. I know its common sense, but i thought i should throw that in here.
Hope this helped!
I've been working as a tutor for over 10 years and always tried to market myself independently. Recently, I started using Wyzant which is an online tutor data base that students can search for tutors. They heavily market and I've gotten great business from them. I tutor mainly math and had over 14 clients this past semester. You can set your own rates and they take care of all of the money which is great. They take a commission and as you increase the ours you have tutored, your take home pay goes up. They offer many subjects which they test you on to make sure you are qualified. I know they offer ESL. Students search for you based on your zipcode and you can also limit how far you want to travel. You can create your own profile and picture as well which I've found really helpful. Make sure you highlight your accomplishments but also especially any experience you have. When a student comes to the site, they can search tutors or post a "tutor wanted" ad. If a wanted ad comes up in your subject, it will get forwarded to your e-mail. Using them has let me go from tutoring part time to tutoring as a full time job and I highly recommend it. I wasn't sure at first if it would be worth it, since they take a commission, but in the end the money is a whole lot better than working at a tutoring place. Often tutoring companies charge $50-$100/hour but you only make $10/hr! Wyzant suggest sthat new tutors set their starting rate at $40/hour, but I set mine a little lower at $35/hour and I think that really helped pull in business. See the link in the sources for more info. I really hopes this helps! good luck!
