Physics is the scientific and detailed study of matter and energy and their interaction in this world. Quantum mechanics
Even though you can handle the math(which is advanced calculus)the concepts violate the common sense are really hard to understand and only few people 'really' understood it.And there are some contreversies(ie than two people made mathematical equations for these field one is shrodinger and i forgot the other one(who discovered about anti matters)many physicists laughed at him when he wrote about antimatters and his equations obey the laws in relativity

My favorites are how physics is hard b/c its all word problems and your explanation of 1 Dimension v. 2 & 3.
An example of a scientific concept would be the idea that all matter is composed of atoms, which are themselves composed of smaller particles (protons, neutrons, and electrons) which are further made of fundamental particles, such as quarks, and that the phenomena we see in matter, such as chemical reactions, are a result of the properties and interactions of these particles. Describing a concept requires a bit more elaboration than simply naming a principle or topic.
Physics(Halliday, Resnik, Krane) is very good but in my opinion University physics (Young ,Freedman) and Physics for scientists and engineers (Serway ) are better in their presentation. (Choice vary man to man!!!!) Moreover , I think , one book is insufficient for understanding. Copmaritive study is necessary for good conceptual understanding otherwise teach some one .It is better than any thing.

suppose you have a battery, a light bulb, and wires connecting the battery to the light bulb so that it lights.
you could have a 3rd wire that connected either end of the battery to ground — a water pipe is good, it makes a good connection to ground.
now having that, if you put one hand on the water pipe, and touched the other finger to one, and then the other side of the battery, AND, you were very sensitive, at one end you'd feet that 1.5 volt potential, and at the other end, you wouldn't feel anything.
for any electrical source, the generator pumps electrons in one end, and out the other. you can make a connection anywhere along the path those electrons travel leaving, and then coming back to the generator, and it won't disrupt the process. In your house, unless it's real old, you have polarized plugs. One side, I don't know which, but now that i've had to admit that, i'm going to test, so next time i will know, is attached to ground. It's called neutral, because it doesn't have to be grounded for the circuit to work, but if the house is wired properly, it is grounded. what that means is that you can hold onto a faucet (remember, that's ground) and touch one of the wires, and nothing will happen. However, don't touch the other wire, because that's 110v, and it'll really wake you up.
it's considerably more complicated, but for this discussion, you can think of it as, the power station, or the transformer on the pole somewhere near your house, is feeding electrons into one side of the circuit, which are coming to your house, through your light bulbs, etc, and returning to the transformer. one side of the circuit of the transformer is attached to ground.
Appliances are made such that the neutral side of the wire pair is attached to the outer case. if you touch the case and the water faucet, you're not going to get a shock, because that case is already grounded internally.
very rarely, you run into one that's wired incorrectly, and you can get either a buzz, or, if it's really bad, a 110 volt shock.
the concept of grounding is so that part of the circuit will be at the same voltage potential as is the ground / water pipes / ???? so that when you touch that part of the circuit, you won't get a shock.
