So, you want to learn basic Spanish online? Well, let me tell you that you are doing an excellent thing. Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Many people have tried to learn Spanish but they quit halfway because they think it’s too hard. Well, to be frank, it isn’t as hard as we think it is. All you have to do is practice. There are many ways to learn Spanish. You can go to a Spanish school, you can have a Spanish tutor or you can learn Spanish online.
A lot of people think it’s boring to learn Spanish in classroom because there is no fun in it. Honestly, I agree with these people. Going to a classroom and learning Spanish after you have just finished work is pretty hard. Also, if you have Spanish school, your whole day is booked. Also, you can have Spanish school on weekends, but who wants to go to school on a weekend. You can also have a Spanish tutor, but it will cost you more.
Now if you don’t want to go to school or have a tutor, you can learn basic Spanish online. It’s way easier than having a tutor or going to school. Also, you can study whenever you want, wherever you want. In my opinion, learning Spanish online is better than going to a Spanish school. Also, when you learn Spanish online, you will have more fun learning. To learn Spanish online, you can buy a program online and learn from it. It will teach you step by step and you can learn from mistakes really fast. Also, you can play all sorts of games that teach you and amuse you at the same time. You can also have courses online with native Spanish speakers. It’s just like having a tutor. This will cost you more than buying a program.
As you can see, learning basic Spanish online is best way to learn Spanish. In my opinion, the best way to learn Spanish is to practice every day.

learnspanish.com: The grammar lessons are explained very well, but there aren't very many practice exercises, so after studying a grammar lesson you can find more elsewhere on the internet by googling "spanish present progressive" or whatever grammar subject you're looking for.

These have really helped me improve my listening comprehension. It's an educational telenovela series, very 90s, but keeps your attention enough to help you learn a lot. A good way of applying grammar lessons you've already learned.
I also like livemocha. The lessons are slow but you can write small writing exercises and record yourself speaking the language and have native speakers correct your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc.
This course is great and free. Really good way to learn Spanish.

The best way to learn Spanish is to move to Spain and speak to the locals. If you want to learn Spanish before you move there is an amazing new method that my wife used to learn Spanish within 6 or so weeks. You can find it here http://z.pe/hdz
Sounds reasonable but you probably won't get any college credit for it (if that's important to you).

jajajjjajaj
Hard! omg PWNED!
I think the best way to learn a language (provided you can't go and live in a Spanish- speaking country) is attending classes either at your local College or at a language school.
You could do your own local research to which one applies the best methodology taking into account your personal goals in the language.
If you can't attend classes, try to make friends with people who are native speakers and who can help you.
I truly believe that nothing can substitute human teaching.
And please, be aware that there are people who will do (and say) anything to sell their courses. After all, teaching a language is another product in the market and they need to make a profit.
You can also become a 'language exchange' student:

Then there are a number of websites which you can use as reference and some of them provide exercises.
