Most local colleges have them and anyone can enroll in them. If you are just doing in for "personal enrichment" then it might be cheaper to go through the schools continuing education program for the classes. Be aware you can't get financial aid for classes unless you are working towards a certificate or a degree.
Just go to any McDonald's and try to order…

From you post I sense, you wish to be able to converse in Spanish and are a beginner. Why would you consider Rosetta Stone to achive this goal? If you want a method that will teach you to SPEAK the language, I would not recommend Rosetta Stone. Like other flashcard methods, Rosetta Stone's method focuses on expanding your vocabulary base. What it does not do is teach conversational skills. As a beginner, if you don't already have the foundation of the language under your belt, learning a lot of vocabulary words is not going to be of any help. Knowing many words is not knowing to speak a language. I usually recommend Pimsleur to beginner students. If you want a method that focuses on conversational skills, Pimsleur is the reference imo. I find that it does very well with new students as it is a real confidence builder, which is essential for new students. You will learn to train your ear to understand natives (an essential part of learning a new language often overlooked), develop very good pronunciation and get the fundamentals of the language under your belt. It's also half the price of RS (check Amazon for best prices.) Good luck.

Unless you can name a specific college or university, we can't tell you if you must have a foreign language or not. Most schools require that you take a foreign language while you're there, but they start at the absolute beginner level so you don't need high school courses as a foundation.
If your high school doesn't require a foreign language to graduate, I'd be tempted to skip it at this point. All research has shown that almost nobody really learns to speak or read any foreign language as a result of a high school or college course. There are better ways to learn a foreign language, but our legislators and academic leaders are too stupid to recognize and implement. Sad but true. So if you can skip the high school foreign language class, you'll be saving yourself some time and frustration, and losing little in terms of real knowledge.
VOS NO SE USA EN CHILE!!

In Florida many libraries, community centers, adult ed centers, senior centers, and community organizations provide Spanish classes for free or for nominal fees. No matter where you go it may be difficult to get a business started. You might want to look at offering classes to a corporation or teaching Spanish in a public school or university instead.
North Florida, like Tallahassee and Pensacola are nice areas. If you're looking for a bigger city you might try Jacksonville. West Palm, Hollywood, Daytona, Fort Lauderdale and Coconut Grove (further south) are also pretty. As in any city or state, location is vital, even within a great city, so find a good realtor who knows the area and take your time.
Good luck!
My Spanish teacher gets movies for us to watch and then helps us figure out what it means. Or right now we are doing a play for younger pupils. I love spainish and my teacher makes it fun for us
I'd say go for both, if possible. It is best to learn it(classroom), and then get to see it applied and use it in a real world setting(the church). I think that would work the best and make it the easiest to truly become conversational in it.
